Dr. Ambedkar Unexplored

 Human Dignity Is Inviolable

Co-incidentally, Art 1 of German Constitution focuses on it. To respect and protect it is the duty of all state authorities. Nature gives us oxygen to live but Dr. Ambedkar gave “Life with Dignity” to all marginalized masses.

Let Me Give A Moral Lesson Of Movie Logan (copyrights of the image are respected)

Logan tells Laura not to become the weapon that she was made to be, and after she tearfully acknowledges him as her father, he dies peacefully in her arms.

Like Superman, Batman, Spiderman, LOGAN is a Superhero! In the movie, Logan has to protect Laura (a small girl with super hero powers) from getting killed/ misused from the hands of aBig technology organization. In order to kill Laura, the organization makes a person(X-24) who looks same like Logan. The look-alike of Logan has the same superhero powers, like Logan, to kill Laura. But in the end, Logan gets killed by his look-alike person, and Laura kills his look-alike. She uses a bullet in the revolver that Logan kept long ago to kill himself by suicide.

Why I told this story and what is its relation to Dr. Ambedkar?

Let’s see this story in the context of our current topic.

Technology symbolizes Revelations(Brahmin’s divine Knowledge) that created a weapon called caste that is Laura.

But Logan uses his super human power (knowledge) to rebel against the technology(Brahmin’s divine knowledge). Laura (lower caste) gets saved by Logan (Dr. Ambedkar) from X-24 (upper caste). As Logan dies from the hands of X-24(upper caste). Laura uses the revolver which has a bullet(Educate, Unite, and Struggle) to kill X-24.

Such divine revelations that gave Brahmin intellectual authority was never based on democratic consensus at all. All the marginalized communities had their own spirituality that was never considered by Brahmin’s! Thus, Brahmana’s divine knowledge was not the complete truth. The marginalized accepttheir knowledge but stillthey couldn’t accept the marginalized way of looking at spirituality.

Logan on his death bed after getting killed by X-24 says to Laura,

Logan (Dr. Ambedkar): Not to become the weapon (lower caste/ inequality)which she was made to be (by the Brahminical religion) at the hands of a big technology organization.

Laura (Lower caste/inequality): Yes, Father. (Dr. Ambedkar)

How Can We Become Like Dr. Ambedkar? (Copyrights of images are respected)

"Bhakti in religion may be a road to the salvation of the soul. But in politics, Bhakti or hero-worship is a sure road to degradation and to eventual dictatorship."

First quote confirms us: Devotion is nourishment for soul, which is something within us. Same logic of devotion will be dangerous if applied to human beings as it is tangible with a form and qualities; unlike, Nirakar (formless) and Nirgun (devoid of maya/qualities) which is soul.

“Cultivation of Human Mind should be the ultimate aim of Human Existence."

Second quote confirms us: Dr. Ambedkar was always known for knowledge and his contribution for humanity. How he achieved it? It’s the cultivation of mind / understanding of the mind. Unless we don’t know how the car works how can we drive it, isn’t it?

"However good the constitution may be, if those who are implementing it are not good, it will prove bad. However bad the constitution may be, if those implementing it are good, it will prove to be good."

Third quote confirms us: We may create best systems and best weapons. All will be operated by humans with their own prejudices, biases, and limited information of consequences. Lastly to sum up in one word, ‘ALTRUISIM’ --- being ‘self-less’.

Society Which Is Divided Is Not a Society at All, Dr. Ambedkar

Rig Veda’s hymn of Purusha Sukta talks about Purusha a human body/ organism. As per this, society is an organism /human body but our Human body functions its best when equally all limbs of body functions its best. For example: If a dog bits you at your leg, won’t you feel the pain in the whole human body/organism? That’s true.

That wound is CASTE and it should hurt the whole body but it never hurts the top most (Class)Varna Brahmin.

Dividing whole society on occupation and birth was a dangerous experiment that cost India. We must accept Buddha’s point of view: “Accept that service which fulfills your need and if can’t then reject that service and move on to the next.”

A society based on volunteerism where an individual carries a profession as per his area of Interest shall sustain the society, not birth and occupation.

French three Estate/Class was a cousin brother of Varna system. French people also kicked out three estates by discouraging divine rights of the King(Revelations) and that lead to collapse of the three Estates within ten years of the revolution. Three Estates was the classification of society into three parts or class:Clergy (first Estate), Nobels (Second Estate), and farmers (Third Estate).

Dr. Ambedkar embraced Buddha’s Dhamma as it was not based on divine revelation. Its basis was the Dhamma i.e. brotherhood, love, and compassion; something which unites whole society together.

But as per Brahmanical ancient texts, Dharma implies the mighty taking care of a weak in civilization.

Leap of Faith

Have you ever heardnot only a Dalit leader but any leader saying to his followers that you join my rallies and political struggle, I will take care of food, shelter, economic and all type of reasonable needs of your families?

Dr. Ambedkar empowered not only his followers economically, financially, politically, and morally but he equally, more than that, empowered people who were not part of his political struggle or were complete unaware about Dr. Ambedkar’s existence. That’s the reason Dr.  Ambedkar and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj were eternally considered leaders.

Culture of Jai Bhim

Jai Bhim implies creating a culture of trust and love between the oppressors and the oppressed.

Dr. Ambedkar was able to instill this culture between many religious as well as socially ahead and backward members in the Constituent Assembly; today it reflects in our Indian Constitution.

Dalits and many marginalized communities make sure to participate in the festivals or celebration of their upper caste friends. Hardly such love or acceptance is ever shown by Upper caste to their fellow lower caste friends during Dr. Ambedkar and Buddha festivals.

Culture in the sense of rallies and processions during Dr. Ambedkar’s Birth and Death Anniversary is established in at least urban parts of country with ghettos helping it to spread on streets as well as on Internet.

For Upper Caste Folks

History has shown we do have empathy and forgiveness on our exploiters. Imagine if 1979 women Iceland protest is created in India where SC, ST, OBC do a nationwide strike against their upper caste members who are exploiting them in political, economic, and social spheres? We shall never do it as we have faith, empathy and forgiveness to our oppressors. Our ancestors practiced this since caste system began.

A Blood Bath for upper caste is easily possible from the hands of lower caste. Taking the legacy of our ancestors ahead, Dr. Ambedkar focused on Human Rights (not on blood bath), in the end, that is applicable to Upper Caste folks too. Thus, for upper caste folks to survive and grow knowing Ambedkar is must for them, else they shall lose their human rights.

Women who glorify Hindu culture must know that same Hindu / Varna religion entitles them as Shudra / Servant to all upper Varna Men.

Social justice is never taken seriously due to the idea of Karma where an individual is responsible for his life only. Using concept of Dharma, the mighty taking care of weak will help for social justice.

After all the most educated person who had whole knowledge of Veda, a Brahmin, called Ravan was killed by Ram as Ravan was not ready to expand empathy, as the Brahmanical text says!

Let’s pledge for Dignity, Dhamma and for Empathy perhaps the last word kept to the marginalized community for not creating a blood bath like the French people did to the three Estates

…Jai Bhim, Jai Buddha, Jai Bharat!

Life without Dr. Ambedkar is impossible.
