4 Reasons why Krishna told Arjuna Not to leave Battlefield or Kurukshetra

1)      Arjuna  you are in a exchange or Yagna

Exchange is a cornerstone or basic thing which gives birth to civilization or culture as exchange implies give and get not take or snatch. Indian word for it was “Yagna”.

In simple words , Arjuna was in a exchange where his brothers Pandava needed him the most. For their survival or well-being depended on Arjuna as Pandavas had already lost their own Indraprastha Kingdom in gambling. Thus they can’t carve out one more kingdom by burning another forest such compromise was not ever done by Kauravas .As , Kauravas were not ready to give even a needlepoint of Pandavas property war was bound to happen for survival and for survival we are dependent meaning exchange .

 

 

2)      Arjuna you can give up war , Battlefield or Kurukshetra if only

Krishna tells him that violence is bound to happen in Arjuna’s life if he gives up war becomes a Ascetic or Shramana . Still being into ascetic he will need food for survival for that he will need to kill something for consumption if he does not do that he will be dead soon .In short , fear of death turns us to kill something for consumption without intake (Food) we will be dead . Arjuna you can give up war , Battlefield or Kurukshetra if only you have given up Hunger and fear

 

 

3)   Arjuna you need to fight in this Battlefield for relationships ?

Krishna tell Arjuna don’t fight this war for your brothers as they are your blood relatives but fight as they are your responsibility in this exchange. As Ram fought to get back Sita from Ravana not because she was his wife but she was his responsibility .

 

 

4)  Arjuna don’t derive value or identity from the war or kurukshetra

Whosoever always derives value or identity from this war will always cling to its outcome. Fight the war for survival and as you are a part of exchange along with don’t try to get your identity from the outcome of this war .

You have your identity intrinsically within you which is Dehi don’t try to derive your identity from Deha or outside .

Animals need identity  to identify who is their mate and food for survival .As it is infinity Krishna (Vishnu or infinity) a human being finite bound to die someday advises  Arjuna that , You are going to take births – deaths for infinite lives eternally in that you will have many achievements almost in every life thus that shall become useless without having value but “Brahman “ i.e “Expansion of Mind”  or understanding will only give you value hope to get out of this infinite birth or deaths  .
