Ekvira Devotees must carry legacy of Satvahan Kingdom.
Recently Raj Thackeray visited Ekvira Devi Temple. This the visit is welcome as it is his faith that is helping him to move mountains in tuff
times.
As per a popular belief, the temple was built by Pandavas in
a single night after a word put by Ekvira Devi to test their work ethic. After
which they got a boon of becoming invisible in the forest.
Know this temple exists there on this faith.
The problem comes how can an area surrounded by Hindus had
the guts to the built temple next to caves of Buddhist?
The temple though the popular tale speaks that Pandavas
visited powerful goddess Ekvira so that they become secure in the forest.
But does it exactly mentioned on mountains or down the
mountains they visited the goddess? Did the goddess tell them that the temple
must be built at the mountain top?
Even if spoken did any Hindu guy was present around secretly
hearing this condition put down by the goddess of building a temple?
Or is the tale told
is only for the sake of representation or Rupatmak in nature to convey a
message?
I believe, that the interpretation was to shelter those people who are exiled from their homes,
houses or places where they left before.
To shelter them,
Their integrity,
honesty, ethic must be examined by the tribe, goddess, head of the
place(forest or part of the forest) where they
are going to seek protection or darshan of any stronger powerful entity (god,
tribes, head of the place) in the forest (where the rule of Might is Right or Law of Jungle
exists) so that they will find peace in the forest(exile).
Thus the condition by
the goddess to built her temple in one night was given. Yes, the Pandavas succeeded
and they got the boon of becoming invisible in the forest during their exile so
that no one catches them.
As this temple built by the Hindus residing in the place had
they even read the entire Mahabharata, Ramayan, Bhagwata ?.
After all, this text conveys
us especially Mahabharata that we must look at Para Jiva (others)not our own
self and try to kill our anger instinct of dominating minority or weak people.
It is obvious if this text at least Mahabharata the people
around the region had read they would have thought 10 times to build a temple
beside a Historically significant site which consist/represents those people of
religion who are very few in numbers compared to Hindus by data.
This is the question
that can create riots in the country like the Ram Mandir issue.
However, please don’t destroy the temple it must be
worshipped but the temple trustee must even take care of the historical site
next to them by working with Archeological Survey of India or the state level
department.
Robberies also take place in the temple which but can obviously
threaten Buddhist historical sites next to the temple.
The site is a UNESCO HERITAGE WORLD SITE and a temple beside
it looks a representation of diversity for the world.
But on the other side it
looks like the Satvahans who were believers in Vaishnavism and Buddhism have
built the temple.
Seriously sarcastically
speaking Satvahans gave grants to built this Buddhist site not to build Hindu
temples being Believers Of Vaishnavism.
If this was the case
they (Satvahans) would have built a temple of Hindus too.
However, being Hindu and claiming Brahaminical status they did not
built a Hindu temple but only a Buddhist monastery.
After facts are seen, the Hindu devotees dwelling the place
if had this knowledge of Hindu dynasty called Satvahan.
They would have not turned
to build a temple if their Ancestors did not think to do so to built a Hindu
temple on side of Buddhist Monastery being Brahmin.
Instead, the Hindus
in this place, they must have proudly propagated that their ancestors built this
great site by giving grants for art, culture, love for other religions and
they will follow this culture.
By carbon dating, it is confirmed it is the very old shrine of Hindus
but the legacy of their ancestors Satvahana must be taken ahead by Hindus to flourish para
jiva i.e ‘others’ minority/weak section.
Making sure that other religions site do not lose their
importance and even they(Hindus devotees of Ekvira) must encourage other Hindus for the preservation of this historical site.
Considering the legacy of their Satvahana Ancestors who built
this site being Hindus.
Look at Hindu temples in Hampi and the temple beside this
Buddhist world heritage site ;
My point is temple-like Hampi if ever built on the side of
Satvahans it would have looked so beautiful and vibrant.
Unfortunately
compared to the temple of Hampi anyone will think ten times to consider the
architecture, design of this temple exotic.
In the end, faith is faith it does not compare/ study or
express these things. Thus Hindus visit this place as Hindus compromise this place on Majority.
In the end, I will conclude,
Present Hindus must never forget that their Hindu kingdoms
patronized other religions/faiths.
So must the legacy be
followed by the (Majority)Hindus who worship Ekvira.
They must not follow the imported form of nationalism of
Germany.
As Satvahans(Government)
being Hindu, gave donations to Brahmins too, the government balanced both
existing faiths of their time.
Love, respect, affection for each other's distinct faith is a must.
Buddhism doesn’t believe in God and Hindus believe so Raj
Thackeray visited the place of Hindus.
.I know if he had visited this place of Buddhist people at
least sections of this people would have welcomed him and other section might
have slapped him to visit the place only during elections.
In the end, MODI was right at United Nations ‘We have never
given Yudh to the world only Buddh’
